SMI™ Wiring and Programming

Enclosures
Our enclosures are constructed from (16) gauge steel with continuous welded seams. The cover includes a fixed, oil-resistant gasket, and is secured to the body with a continuous hinge on one side and easy-to-operate screw clamps mounted to the opposite side. External mounting feet are provided for secure wall mounting.
- UL 508 listed, Type 13 and Type 12
- CSA C22.2 No.94 certified, Type 13 and Type 12
- Conforms to NEMA standard for Type 13 and Type 12
- Conforms to JIC standard EGP-1-1967
- IEC 60529, IP65
We finish our enclosures with Power Entry Modules and flush-mounted cable connectors standard.
Power Entry Module Features:
- All single elements are already wired
- Fuse drawer meets requirements of medical standard IEC/EN 60601-1. The fuse holder is accessible from the equipment front
- Designed for standard and medical applications
- Qualified for use in equipment according IEC/EN 60950

Connector Cables
We use high quality, long-lasting flexible cables designed to provide excellent performance in high-flex, high torsion, and continuous-flex applications, perfect for motion control and robotics.
Rounded geometry helps insure a liquid-tight installation per IP67 or NEMA 6
Supra-Shield provides precise EMI interference resistance for your specific application is easily achievable with the available standard flex, torsional flex, and continuous flex applications.
Connectors
SMI™ utilizes Amphenol C091 connectors. Their proven design and performance make these connectors a great choice for our integration projects.
