- Round, hardened & precision ground shafting combined with recirculating, self-aligning linear pillow blocks provide a very reliable and predictable system with minimal user maintenance.
- Complete System
- SMI™ stages are complete and ready to install.
- Includes Pillow Blocks, Shafting, Screw, Motor, and all necessary end supports.
- Low Friction
- Coefficient of friction at .003 typical (without seals). Seals are included in all systems pillow blocks; however, if friction is a major concern, seals can be removed (seals add approximately 28 grams of drag/seal). All pillow blocks are pre-loaded at the factory for a line-to-air fit (0 pre-load, 0 loose). Pre-load can be added if required.
All SMI™ Linear Motion Systems are constructed of High Quality Aluminum Alloy and are protected with clear anodized surface finish. The mounting surfaces are precision machined to assure flatness.
