Unlike competitor’s product, the screw within the Slick Stick™ has its entire circumference encompassed within the nut utilizing Total Helical Contact™ technology. One inch diameter steel tubing provides exceptional stiffness and rigidity compared to competitor’s aluminum extrusion. Tapped holes on the carriage allowing for mounting on three orthogonal sides. Easily adaptable to aesthetically pair with a non-driven support rail assembly.
The Slick Stick™ Comes standard with a NEMA 17 frame motor and servo-class coupler. The Slick Stick™ boasts a small, streamlined footprint and has the flexibility to be mounted continuously or end-supported. Preloaded; Dual-nut configuration currently under development. As with all SMI™ Stages and systems, we offer complete packages for single axis to multi-axis systems.
These packages include power supplies, indexer, controllers, joy stick controls, remote controls and even foot controlled systems.
