Corona, CA manufacture of Linear Motion and Automation Components and Devices is seeking a Customer Service person to help coordinate sales efforts on the inside. Successful candidate will be well spoken, educated and possess some mechanical skills and have the ability to learn and understand. We will train the right person in our product offering and expect that person to be able to communicate this knowledge at the Design and Engineering level. A strong background and understanding of all things mechanical is a must and a background in electrical, motors, servos, programming, wiring and electronics is helpful.
The main characteristics we are seeking in this CS person will be the ability to be a pro-active sales person while multi-tasking as a product coordinator and facilitator while being creative and efficient in offering solutions from a diverse array of products and product lines. In return for this energetic, educated and efficient salesmanship we will offer a starting salary of $35k with great growth potential after the training wheels come off. In addition to the salary paid bi-weekly, we offer Health, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD and AD&D benefits.

Outside Field Sales Engineer
Specialty Motions, Inc. (SMI), a Corona California company is seeking Outside Field Sales Engineer calling on OEM customers in the automation, robotics and mechanical motion marketplace for Southern California. Territory includes but not limited to San Diego, Riverside, Orange and LA Counties. Candidate qualifications will include Mechanical Engineering Degree, minimum of 2 years field sales experience with a proven record of success and familiarity with Linear and Mechanical Motion industry and products.
Individual must have record of successful selling at the OEM level with proven time management skills and the ability to close sales. You must be able to communicate at the engineering level to work closely with engineers in design and application phase of systems design and coordinate selling efforts at the purchasing level.
A basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical/control components is a must with knowledge of ball screw/lead screw devices, electro-mechanical actuators, step and servo motor and linear motion devices a basic requirement with some experience in machine programming a distinct advantage.
The majority of work effort will be from the road with local travel a daily routine calling on existing accounts while developing new opportunities through lead follow up. A car allowance and expenses will be provided and compensation will be in the form of base salary plus commission.
We are looking for that individual who understands and can sell mechanical motion components and systems to a vast array of customers and applications through experience, expertise and professionalism.
