The XLA-15 is an all-in one system that can be easily adapted for any application. The base alone is machined at 10 ft lengths from 6061 Aluminum extrusion proprietary to Specialty Motions Inc. length and accuracy .0005 per ft. SMI's XLA stage-15 goes the extra distance with higher precision and load capacity. The new XLA-15 is a one piece rigid structural member, at a lower cost than any other system out there. Twice the capacity in the same envelope makes the assembly of a gantry system a breeze. The new XLA-15 will complement any application from medical, robotics to automation. |
The XLA-15 base is a proprietary extrusion designed as a structural member of a mechanical motion system where high moments of inertia are present. Machined complete in long lengths to ensure flatness and parallelism as single integral unit. |
